Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) on-site in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Mechanical Intern to assist the engineering staff on assigned projects and begin learning discipline policies and procedures under supervision.

The role includes participating in technical studies, investigations, and designs, supporting the project team in producing project documents. Responsibilities include learning design basics, growth potential within the firm, computer use for emails and document creation,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline.
• An individual with potential for employment and growth within the firm.
• Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program.
• Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors.
• Manipulates plans periodically. Must be able to lift plans weighting 30 pounds.
