Job summary

INEOS Acetyls in Texas City seeks a regional Machinist and Inspection Lead to oversee safe, high-quality machining, fabrication, and inspection activities. You will coordinate NDE contractors and ensure repairs meet engineering requirements and regulatory standards.

You will mentor machinists and inspection personnel, drive risk-based turnarounds, and partner with operations to optimize asset reliability and safety performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance and/or inspection experience in petrochemical/refining environments.
• Experience leading machinists and inspection personnel in field and shop settings.
• TWIC card and US driving license required; working in a petrochemical plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, high-quality execution of machining and inspection work.
• Oversee shop and field machining, repair activities, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate NDE activities and oversee contractors (UT/RT/PAUT/ Eddy Current).
• Review repair scopes, ensure compliance with codes, and validate field workmanship.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety culture, and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and asset teams for alignment.
