Job summary

EPS is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Integrator to support programs at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the design, fabrication, and integration of mechanical systems within a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; DoD/Defense experience preferred.
• 3–7+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in assembly, fabrication or integration.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, schematics and technical specifications.
• Experience with precision assembly using hand and power tools.
• DoD/Naval/military fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, integration, modification, and testing of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, CAD models and specs to ensure correct fit and assembly.
• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, welders, machinists and project personnel.
• Troubleshoot fitment, alignment, tolerances, hydraulic and electromechanical issues.

EPS is seeking a dedicate Mechanical Integrator support programs at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will have significant experience obtained in a US Navy, USMC, or comparable DoD environment in the areas of design, fabrication, and integration of mechanical systems or similar systems, including leading of a team of mechanical engineers.

Requirements

The Mechanical Integrator performs hands-on assembly, integration, modification, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems in a DoD fabrication/manufacturing environment. The position interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to accurately fit, assemble, align, and test components and assemblies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required; mechanical, aerospace, or mechatronics degree preferred.
• 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience using hand and power tools for precision assembly and fabrication.
• Ability to troubleshoot fitment, alignment, tolerance, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues.
• Experience with mechanical integration, installation, modification, and testing of components and systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work closely with engineers, fabricators, welders, machinists, and project personnel.
• DoD/Defense, Navy, shipyard, or military fabrication experience preferred.
