Job Overview

As a Mechanical Installer, you will join our Installation team supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor system projects across the continental United States. This role is responsible for the layout, pre‑assembly, installation, and run‑in of conveyor equipment, including structural and header steel, platforms, guardrail, rack systems, and air piping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the layout and pre‑assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
• Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and related mechanical components with precision.
• Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
• Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to implement project plans.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in safe condition.
• Prepare for 100% travel across the U.S., including extended stays at job sites and physically demanding tasks such as lifting at least 50lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates.

Qualifications

• 1–5years of hands‑on installation experience with mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degrees or specialized training preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to acquire upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and hand tools.
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude; some computer experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $34,000 to $64,000. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
