Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mechanical installation, machine building, or industrial equipment assembly.
• Proven MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, alignment, and assembly processes.
• Ability to work overtime and travel for project-based work.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and align mechanical components for automated production systems.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layout schematics.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication as required for equipment installation.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and rigging equipment to move and position machinery.
• Install conveyors, robotic cells, fixtures, and structural components.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and anchoring of equipment.
• Assist with system startups, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Work alongside engineering and controls teams during commissioning.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all OSHA and company safety standards.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for installations and support.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces when needed
