Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or related business major.
• Must have reliable transportation to work daily.
• Ability to be punctual and take initiative.
• Positive attitude towards work and others.
• Ability to work independently with daily supervision.
• Respect for tools, equipment, and safety consciousness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the industry and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Creates a master checklist of expectations and goals to guide the internship and for evaluation.
• Assists departments with projects, estimating, or business operations.
• Participates in special tasks/projects with team and resources to complete.
• Collects information and maintains files, documents, spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed.
• Attends departmental and jobsite meetings.
• Performs tasks under supervision of an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Participates in learning experiences such as orientations, lunches, jobsite tours, safety inspections.
