Job summary
Ameri-Force, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Installation Tech to install and repair equipment such as snowplows, service bodies, lift gates, and related truck gear.
The role requires hands-on experience with basic automotive electrical and hydraulic systems, with welding experience preferred. You will work with tools to assemble and install equipment, read schematics, and ensure work meets manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- US citizen or permanent resident required.
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- Mechanical and fabricating skills required.
- Good understanding of hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install equipment such as snowplows, service bodies, lift gates, and related truck gear.
- Use hand and power tools (drill, impact wrench, air ratchet, grinders).
- Complete jobs to manufacturers' specifications.
- Prioritize customer relations and respond to customer requirements.
- Coordinate with parts manager to ensure correct parts.
