Job summary

Power Design is expanding its mechanical work and seeks a Mechanical HVAC Foreman to lead field efforts on multimillion-dollar projects with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. You will coordinate with the Superintendent, leverage technology, and mentor crews to deliver on-time results.

Relocation assistance is available, and you may train at our St. Petersburg, FL facility as part of our growth plan. A clear career path awaits in a national contractor environment.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path.
• Five years of experience managing a scope and multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active journeyman or master license preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
• Must have basic computer and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades to oversee the assigned scope, manage material and manpower.
• Enforce and promote high quality and safety standards on all projects.
• Utilize company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure on-time completion and exceed customer expectations.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope.

About the Position

Are you ready to make an impact? As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are looking for a Mechanical HVAC Foreman to play a critical leadership role in the success of our new projects in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This means we’ll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. To top it off, you’ll not only have access to innovative technologies in the field - including fully-equipped iPads - but you’ll also travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility for customized training courses at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. • Work closely with project Superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower

What We’re Looking For

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path
• Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
• Active journeyman or master license preferred
• Proficient knowledge of the IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
• Must have at least basic computer and writing skills
