Job summary

PC Construction is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead multiple crew members on self-perform projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will supervise piping installations, coordinate trades, read drawings, and plan daily to monthly schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3 years as a mechanical foreman, 6 years total piping experience, and proficiency with large-diameter aboveground flanged ductile iron piping and wastewater equipment installation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as mechanical foreman on self-perform projects.
• At least 6 years total experience with piping installation (flanged).
• Experience with large diameter aboveground flanged ductile iron piping systems.
• Experience installing process equipment for wastewater treatment plants.
• Experience rigging piping and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew.
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, order materials.
• Plan and schedule work daily to monthly, coordinating subcontractors.
• Work with tools as needed and train/mentor staff.
• Travel to jobsites as required.

Job description

PC is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to manage and work with multiple crew members on self-perform projects, and with a range of trade disciplines. It is preferred that candidates have three years experience as a mechanical foreman, six years of overall experience with installation of flanged piping systems, working with large diameter aboveground flanged ductile iron piping systems, installation of process equipment for wastewater treatment plants, and expertise with rigging of piping and equipment. Also a willingness to assist will ancillary work such as miscellaneous metals is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials
• Plan and schedule the work for the crew, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to include integrating subcontractor work as needed
• Work with tools when needed, and train/mentor
• Travel to jobsites as required
