Job summary

Primoris Services Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to develop accurate, insight-driven estimates for major industrial projects, analyzing P&IDs, piping, and equipment installation scopes.

You will work with proposal and engineering teams to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates, identify risks, and help deliver competitive bids.

The role requires 5–10 years in industrial construction, proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, Word, and Primavera, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Join a leading EPC powerhouse as a Mechanical Estimator, where you’ll develop accurate, insight-driven estimates that shape major industrial projects. You’ll dig into P&IDs, assess mechanical piping and equipment installation scopes, collaborate closely with proposal and engineering teams, and help deliver competitive, high-quality bids. If you’re a detail-oriented mechanical professional with strong analytical skills and EPC estimating experience, this role puts you at the center of project success.

We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for understanding project requirements, identifying the costs involved, and preparing detailed estimates. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, be proficient in computer applications, and be skilled in creating detailed reports for the Lead Estimator.

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years in industrial construction
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with owner representatives, engineering firms, subcontractors, other team members, and senior management.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledgeable in Primavera.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related is preferred.
• Annual salary range of $140–$175k commensurate with education, experience and skillset
