Job summary

Central Consolidated Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our Wichita, KS team. The role focuses on evaluating all aspects of potential projects to set pricing and keep us competitive and profitable.

The candidate will work with project managers and suppliers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of estimates and will contribute to the overall quality and consistency of our services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical estimation.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate project costs and pricing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimates.

Responsibilities

• Consider labor, material, equipment rental, location, facility costs and permits.
• Analyze job plans, visit sites, and compile material costs.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure project meets financial obligations.
• Reference past projects to help prepare future estimates.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and equipment vendors.
• Understand physical demands and safety considerations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our Wichita, KS team!

The right candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical estimation and have the ability to analyze and evaluate all aspects of potential projects to set pricing to ensure Central Consolidated remains competitive and profitable. This person is motivated and looking to grow the business while managing quality and consistency of products and service delivery in accordance to Central Consolidated standards providing the customer with an exceptional experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Considers factors such as labor costs, material costs, equipment rental, project locations, facility costs and required permits.


• Analyzes job plans, visits the job site, and compiles material costs.


• Works closely with the Project Manager to make sure the project meets all financial obligations.


• Refers to previously completed projects to help prepare future estimates.


• Responsible for maintaining relationships with suppliers and equipment vendors.


• Physical Demands: The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust and focus. The employee may be exposed to extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
