Job summary

Action Mailing & Printing Solutions in Liberty, MO, seeks skilled Maintenance Technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on production equipment used to automate mail piece production.

First Shift—7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional 6:00 am starts on Saturdays. The role requires machine set up, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and safety inspections, plus strong mechanical/electrical aptitude. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up.
• Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify & adjust production equipment to prevent downtime.
• Communicate proper technique to machine operators for production efficiency.
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety inspections are conducted.

Action Mailing & Printing Solutions is a leader in direct mail and print services. We continue to grow after 30 years of successful business. Due to this growth there is a demand for talented professionals to join our team.

We are currently seeking skilled Technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on various production equipment. Maintenance Technicians ensure equipment that automates the production of mail pieces, including insert machines, folders and inkjets are operational to meet production needs. Full time direct hire with benefits.

First Shift - Hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday;plus some 8 hour shifts on Saturdays starting at 6:00 am as needed.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up
• Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify & make adjustments to production equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment down time
• Communicate proper technique to machine operators for optimal production
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety inspections are done
• Continuously obtain knowledge on updated equipment and industry specifications

Qualifications & Competencies

• Light electrical skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 3 + years previous work experience on production equipment/machines
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and suppliers
• Demonstrates exemplary work ethic; dependable and punctual
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• Must be available to work mandatory overtime including Saturdays
