Job summary

Action Mailing & Printing Solutions is seeking skilled maintenance technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on our production equipment, including insert machines, folders and inkjets. This full-time direct-hire role helps keep our mail production running smoothly.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Must be available for overtime including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up.
• Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify and adjust production equipment to prevent downtime.
• Communicate proper technique to machine operators for optimal production.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Continuously gain knowledge on updated equipment and industry specs.

Action Mailing & Printing Solutions is a leader in direct mail and print services. We continue to grow after 30 years of successful business. Due to this growth there is a demand for talented professionals to join our team.

We are currently seeking skilled Technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on various production equipment. Maintenance Technicians ensure equipment that automates the production of mail pieces, including insert machines, folders and inkjets are operational to meet production needs. Full time direct hire with benefits.

Second Shift - Hours 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday through Thursday (Saturdays and Sundays Off!); plus occasional 8 hour shifts on Fridays from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am as needed.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up
• Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify & make adjustments to production equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment down time
• Communicate proper technique to machine operators for optimal production
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety inspections are done
• Continuously obtain knowledge on updated equipment and industry specifications

Qualifications & Competencies

• Light electrical skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 3 + years previous work experience on production equipment/machines
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and suppliers
• Demonstrates exemplary work ethic; dependable and punctual
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• Must be available to work mandatory overtime including Saturdays
