You will work closely with our design engineers to rapidly build, assemble, and test complex robot hardware. The role will be an integral member of a small ME team dedicated to building hardware that enables AI learning through data collection and system testing.Mechanical Engineering Technician, Robotics Hardware Engineering Responsibilities:Rapid Prototyping & Fabrication: Fabricate mechanical components and assemblies using diverse processes including 3D printing, CNC machining, and manual fabricationComplex Assembly: Build and integrate structural components, precision actuators and gearboxes, wire electronics, ensuring precision and fit for complex robotic systemsTesting & Validation Support: Support engineering teams in conceptualizing and executing experiments, running mechanical safety tests (crush/force testing), performance validation, and reliability studiesLab & Material Management: Manage lab materials and organization including tools and consumables.
