Job summary

Sunrise Systems, Inc. seeks a Lab Technician 1 to support mechanical testing in a regulated lab. You will perform bench-level tests, assist with equipment qualification, and help develop test methods under supervision.

The role supports DV, stability, feasibility studies, and TMV development, with a focus on GDP/GLP and accurate documentation in a 2:00PM–10:30PM shift, on-site in Franklin Lakes, NJ.

Qualifications

• BS/AS or HS with relevant lab experience in a regulated setting.
• Experience with testing equipment setup, operation, and data recording.
• Ability to follow GDP/GLP and document results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute minimally complex test requests with supervision.
• Assist with equipment qualification (IQ/OQ) and TMV development.
• Support test method validation (TMV) activities and Ver/Val teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and GDP/GLP compliance.
• Help create tools to streamline lab testing processes.

• This position is for a Second Shift: 2:00PM - 10:30PM on site

Job Summary

• Reporting to a supervisor/manager, the Lab Technician 1 brings technical skills and knowledge to support: test lab daily activities; equipment qualification; test method validation (TMV) development; and lab engineering projects.
• Performs bench-level engineering tests for design verification (DV), stability, feasibility, and test method developments (TMD).
• Works under supervision to complete assignments.
• Supports review of test requests to ensure accurate completion.
• Supports lab for TMV's.

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

• Executes minimally complex test requests with moderate assistance. Developing on all lab testing.
• Handles minimally complex problems with moderate supervisor assistance.
• Works with moderate oversight/supervision to complete minimally complex projects.
• Supports equipment qualification (IQ, OQ) and TMV's development.
• Supports TMD and Ver/Val teams.
• Troubleshoots to a solution inconsistency on test needs/requests with requestor.
• Responsible for maintaining good documentation practice (GDP), good laboratory practices (GLP) and supports compliance with GLP.
• Supports efforts to create tools for process simplification of testing lab operation

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree and minimum of 0 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting, Or Associates in Applied Science (AAS) and minimum of 0 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting, Or High School Diploma and minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient communication skills (written/verbal).
