IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Indianapolis, IN. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one. You will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry.
In this role, you will support project work within project budgets, collaborate with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, and help meet project goals and client expectations. You will contribute to healthcare-focused MEP work with an HVAC emphasis, while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030.

Required Education
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required
Required Skills/Abilities
Service mix is primarily in healthcare and sports & rec. focused MEP work, with a strong emphasis on HVAC and electrical design across renovations, studies, and new build projects. The team also regularly supports plumbing, fire protection, and construction administration on more complete project efforts
Other responsibilities involve a fair amount of assessment and survey work, along with partnering with other IMEG teams for select technology, commissioning, energy modeling, and master planning services when projects call for broader coordination.
Recent renovation projects include changes within Lucas Oil Stadium, Victory Field, Indianapolis Convention Center, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Four Winds Field, numerous Indianapolis hospital campus buildings, and major university campus buildings (Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame, Butler).
Recent new build projects include IU Health Methodist Hospital, local YMCA, nationwide Lifetime rec centers, and Purdue 3rdand West student housing.
