Mechanical Engineering Manager Section Leader - Advanced Airframes

What You Will Do
- In addition to program assignments, lead the Department and the Mechanical & Raytheon goals in coordination with the Manager and leadership.
- Supervise a team of around 15, fostering performance and career development.
- Maintain section capabilities, ensuring adequate staffing for programs.
- Perform performance development and appraisal, salary and manpower planning, career coaching, and ensure policy compliance.
- Provide technical oversight, monitor program execution, and support proposals.
- Serve as day‑to‑day liaison for section members, managing job assignments, performance impact, and recognition.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in STEM and at least 8 years of relevant experience (unless locally prohibited).
- Prior leadership roles (frontline or project leader).
- Experience in hardware development, design, or manufacturing.
- Experience with technical and/or cost proposal development, risk management, or managing to cost and schedule requirements.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $101,000 – $203,000 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flex spending accounts, flexible schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and potential incentive compensation. This role is U.S.-based; benefits may vary by location and collective‑bargaining agreements.
