Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Round Rock, TX is hiring a Manager of Mechanical Engineering R&D to lead the Advanced Deposition Hardware team. The role guides the full product lifecycle from concept to customer deployment, shaping the hardware portfolio for ALD/CVD precursors.

You will partner with systems, electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams, drive innovation, and ensure high performance, quality and reliability across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years mechanical engineering experience required.
• Experience leading a mechanical engineering team.
• Direct experience designing semiconductor processing equipment.
• Strong background in vacuum, thermal management and materials.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers in design, development, verification and deployment of semiconductor delivery system products.
• Ensure designs support ALD requirements, vacuum environments, thermal management, and cleanroom compatibility.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers domestically and internationally within a DFSS approach.
• Research improved hardware sub-components to enhance performance, cost, quality and reliability.
• Help manage IP development with Entegris legal.
• Create deliverables from development to manufacturing release.
• Coordinate with product marketing, field service and customers on functional requirements.
• Drive internal/external engineering resources to meet customer timelines.
• Support professional development of the engineering team.
