Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• University student (Junior or Senior) in Mechanical Engineering or related ABET program.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong customer service skills and professional client interaction.
• Eager to learn, team player, and able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Assist Laboratory staff to improve quality and customer satisfaction for UL Retail products.
• Reduce returns, damages and markdowns; improve online reviews and ratings.
• Ensure process controls meet product specs and applicable laws.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, contracts, supplier agreements and purchase orders.
• Monitor continuous improvement and CAPA plans across processes.
• Identify problems, propose solutions and provide feedback to UL Retail customers.
• Assist in developing and deploying data analytics and reporting products.
• Conduct data validation, statistical analyses and data mapping.
• Knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment.
