Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to lead projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain hands-on experience onsite at our Claremore operations. You will apply the Management of Change (MOC) process to implement recommendations and monitor operating parameters to support safe, reliable operations this summer.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
Ability to make verbal and written presentations to communicate ideas.

Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead projects from start to finish.
Collaborate with diverse teams.
Gather process information and perform engineering calculations.
Present project results and recommendations.
Support Engineers: Assist Process and Reliability Engineers with daily tasks.
Monitor Operations: Analyze trends and maintain turbine and compressor efficiencies.
Track machine tribology data, cooling water surveys, catalyst surveys, DCS trends, and lab results.
Process Safety Management: Initiate and follow up on MOC submittals.
Organize Process Safety Information for technicians.
Participate in Process Hazard Analyses.
Develop and review Mechanical Integrity Procedures.
