Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions in Melbourne, KY offers a summer internship for mechanical/architectural engineering students to apply classroom learning on real projects from concept to completion.

You will receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers, with exposure to Revit drafting/modeling and HVAC and plumbing system design, while working full-time May–August 2027, with potential continuation part-time depending on performance and school schedule and a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) May–August 2027.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn (Revit, IES VE, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Apply academic education to tasks on real projects from concept to completion.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Learn the basics of Revit drafting/modeling and HVAC and plumbing system design.
