Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Test prototypes and write reports to document results.
• Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages).
• Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment.
• Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to perform mechanical design calculations.
• Ability to perform basic design modifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with developing test plans for HVAC unit rating, qualification and reliability testing.
• Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing.
• Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support.
• Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation.
