Job summary

CDM Smith in Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will work with a dynamic team on public, federal, and industrial projects, supporting HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Mechanical Engineering and prepared for basic engineering calculations; experience with CADD 2D/3D modeling is a plus. Expected travel is 10% or less as part of project involvement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Basic Mechanical Engineering calculations expected.
• CADD 2D/3D modeling experience with HVAC/plumbing systems is a plus.
