Introba in St. Louis, MO, invites a Fire Protection Design Intern to join the team for Summer 2027.

You will contribute to diverse projects, gain hands-on experience, and work within a collaborative community dedicated to sustainable building design. You’ll assist with AutoCAD/Revit setup, calculations, and drawings, support presentations and project files, and learn from engineers while developing professional skills in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Understanding of mechanical building systems and sustainable design.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit.
• General understanding of engineering/construction documentation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in setting up AutoCAD and Revit drawing files, including digitizing and cleaning up working drawings
• Ensure compliance with the Introba design checklist
• Perform hands-on engineering tasks, including calculations and simulations
• Create and update technical drawings and 3D models
• Support business-related tasks, such as preparing presentations and maintaining project files

Job Summary

Are you passionate about supporting Mechanical Engineering (Fire Protection Design) in the buildings space? Introba is looking for an intern to join our St. Louis, MO office for the Summer of 2027.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Assist in setting up AutoCAD and Revit drawing files, including digitizing and cleaning up working drawings
• Ensure compliance with the Introba design checklist
• Perform hands‑on engineering tasks, including calculations and simulations
• Create and update technical drawings and 3D models
• Support business‑related tasks, such as preparing presentations and maintaining project files

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues

Your Education And Experience

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• An understanding of mechanical building systems, combined with a passion for sustainable design
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit
• General understanding of engineering/construction documentation is preferred
