Introba Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer intern for our Los Angeles, CA office for Summer 2027. This internship provides hands-on experience across diverse projects and a chance to learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative setting.

You will gain exposure to engineering plans, CAD tools, and project monitoring while developing skills in documentation and reporting under senior supervision.

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Exposure to CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Job Summary

Are you passionate about Mechanical Engineering in the buildings space? Introba is looking for an intern to join our Los Angeles, CA office for the Summer of 2027. As a Mechanical Engineering Designer intern, you'll gain the opportunity to immerse yourself in diverse projects. This internship is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on meaningful work.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers
• Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables

What You Bring to the Team (Competencies)

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment
• Strong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior
• Commitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements

Your Education and Experience

Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited university program

• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software
• Exposure to Computer-aided design software (AutoCad, Revit)
