You will participate in the development of hand‑held camera systems (thermal, visible, infrared) and laser devices, working closely with engineers on testing, data reduction, and active projects in the lab. This hands-on role emphasizes math modeling, analysis, and design software use, with opportunities to create schematics, documentation, and reports while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
• Career interest in product design and development
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Good problem‑solving skills and strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Support design and development activities. Assist in the creation of electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform testing and data collection on electrical components, circuits, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications. Prepare and present detailed reports on test results, measurements, and findings. Troubleshoot and debug electrical and electronic systems as required.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including specifications, procedures, and technical drawings.
• Conduct research to support design improvements and innovation.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations while conducting tests and performing hands‑on tasks.
• Other duties as assigned
