Job summary

Visora is seeking Mechanical Engineering and CAD professionals to contribute real-world workflows using FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, LibreCAD, and Blender. You’ll record unedited sessions with our lightweight app, focusing on parametric modeling, drawings, and scripting for manufacturing readiness.

Ideal candidates have hands-on CAD experience, understand 3D printing workflows, and can produce clean technical outputs. Compensation is hourly, with weekly payouts.

Job description

We're looking for Mechanical Engineering and CAD Professionals who use tools like FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, LibreCAD, and Blender as part of their day-to-day workflow. Selected contributors will be paid to record their real workflows using a lightweight app we provide. Relevant backgrounds include mechanical and product engineering, industrial design, 3D printing and rapid prototyping, custom fabrication, hardware R&D, and freelance engineers who regularly model parametric parts, produce technical drawings, script geometry, or prepare models for manufacturing and presentation.

Requirements:

• Use our recording software to capture and submit sessions
• Record real, day-to-day work - sessions must be continuous and unedited
• Avoid capturing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive data, including client footage, unreleased content, passwords, personal data, and non-public material
• Use unlicensed-cleared, public, or personal footage where needed
• Idle or low-activity sessions will not be paid

Sample Tasks:

• Model parametric parts in FreeCAD, including sketching and padding profiles, driving dimensions from spreadsheets, producing TechDraw drawings with dimensions, or drafting 2D geometry in LibreCAD and exporting DXF files.
• Script parametric geometry in OpenSCAD, validate STL exports for 3D printability, or import CAD models into Blender for materials, lighting, and presentation renders.

Pay

$30–$80/hr. Payouts weekly on Wednesdays via Stripe or Payoneer.
