Job summary

nVent's Mechanical Engineering Co‑op Program in Blue Ash, OH offers hands‑on rotations in Applications Engineering, New Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Labs/Approvals. You will work with design reviews, 3D modeling, prototyping, and process improvements while developing practical engineering skills.

Participants gain exposure to Lean and Six Sigma, collaborate with global teams, and may receive housing or relocation support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, mechanical focus preferred.
• Current enrollment as full- or part-time student with GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations to analyze product designs and specs.
• Assist with design issues and compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to design reviews and document engineering outputs with 2D/3D models.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop test plans and assist in prototype testing and validation.
