Job summary

Gorbel®, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to assist in conceiving, developing, testing, and maintaining material handling product designs.

You will support product reliability, performance, and customer acceptance under the guidance of experienced engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves CAD work (SolidWorks), FEA, and documentation, with collaboration across teams to meet tight deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree program.
• Strong communication skills and problem solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Mechanical Engineering Manager and lead engineers in conceiving and developing material handling products using sound mechanical engineering principles.
• Create and maintain CAD models, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks; perform FEA using SolidWorks Simulation.
• Support internal/external customers and vendors; adhere to project timelines and budgets.
