Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH, seeks Co-Op Mechanical Engineering Technology/Mechanical Engineering students for Spring 2027 with Clarke Fire. You will produce 2D/3D CAD drawings and models to support engine development for stationary fire pump markets.

Work with R&D Technicians, assist in engine performance testing, and gain hands-on experience in a leading industry service provider. This co-op is intended for current students commuting to the site.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering current student required.
• Must be within commuting distance to Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D CAD & 3D CAD drawings to support business activities.
• Create CAD 3D models to develop new engines for the Stationary Fire Pump Market.
• Collaborate with R&D Technicians and participate in diesel engine performance testing.

Our Clarke Fire team is looking for Co-Op Students to join our engineering team for Spring, 2027 Semester!

Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology Co-ops needed to work alongside the talented engineering group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Working with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers creating 2D CAD & 3D CAD drawings to support all activities of the business, as well as, creating CAD 3D models to develop new engines for the Stationary Fire Pump Market.
• Candidate will also work with our R&D Technicians to oversee their designs and will also be involved in diesel engine performance testing.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
• Qualified candidates must currently live within commuting distance
