Job summary

Cisco's Mechanical Engineering team is offering an internship to assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems, packaging, and hardware for Cisco devices. You will participate in feasibility studies and help refine designs for durability and performance in real-world environments.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an undergraduate program with 2 years of work experience or a Master's program with 0 years, and have CAD experience along with a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's) with 2 years of work experience; or a Master's degree program with 0 years of work experience.
• Qualifying education should be in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience with CAD design tools, mechanical systems, or hardware packaging in academic, project, or professional capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and packaging.
• Participate in feasibility studies and testing for new and modified designs.
• Prepare detailed design documentation for product fabrication.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve infrastructural specifications.
