Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to assist in design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging for Cisco's hardware products. You will participate in feasibility studies, testing, and prepare design documentation for fabrication.

You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve specifications, gain hands-on experience with CAD tools, 3D printing, and prototypes, and contribute to durable, real-world hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree program with internship eligibility.
• Undergraduate track requires 2 years of work experience; master's track requires 0 years.
• Qualifying education should be in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Must continue enrollment following completion of the internship.
• Experience with CAD design tools, mechanical systems, or hardware packaging.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities
