Job summary

Gorbel® is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to assist in conceptualizing and developing material handling products. You will work under engineering managers to ensure designs meet reliability, performance, and cost goals.

The role requires enrollment in a 4-year ME degree program, strong communication, problem solving, and attention to detail. Proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD is preferred; ECR/ECN processes may be involved.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree program.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and high-quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop material handling products using solid engineering principles.
• Create CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks; perform FEA.
• Maintain bill of materials and routings in CSI9 ERP.
• Support product development teams and meet project timelines.
• Provide documentation and technical resources to internal stakeholders.
