Draper in Cambridge, MA, invites a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to tackle a broad range of technical challenges, from designing components to assembling hardware systems. You will work with engineers and technicians to apply engineering principles, build and test hardware, and learn manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with SolidWorks/Creo, ANSYS simulations, and cross-disciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document work clearly.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and enhance engineering solutions for challenging problems.
• Implement, test, perform analysis, and provide documentation support.
• Generate and present test reports with plots, tables, and conclusions from data.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to fabricate and assemble hardware systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
