Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking engineering co-op students to gain real-world experience on motors, blowers, pumps, motor drives, and related electronics.

You will work independently and in small teams across multiple engineering functions, with blocks tailored to business needs and your interests. You will design, test, document, and validate components, and gain experience with embedded systems and PCB concepts, supported by experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering degree program.
• Sophomore or higher standing.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and decision making.
• Ability to communicate via MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, document, and validate new components and products with experienced engineers.
• Build, document, and validate electro-mechanical performance of motors, gearmotors, blowers, drives, software, circuitry, and other products.
• Conduct tests, analyze data, and provide formal report-outs with findings and recommendations.
• Create and support the development of technical documentation.
