Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Mechanical Engineering graduates to join our Saint Louis Park, MN office on our MEP team in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers involvement across projects such as HVAC, power distribution, and energy solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers, regulatory familiarity, and a wide range of building types, including airports, facilities, and universities. An ABET-accredited degree by Summer 2027 is required.

• ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Mechanical Engineering graduates to join our Saint Louis Park, MN office's MEP team in 2027! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required
• Our Mechanical teams work on a wide variety of projects, such as building MEP, HVAC, power distribution, renewable energy, EV charging, security and communications, industrial controls, and more.
• Project type will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

Salary: $88,000-$91,500
