Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience with load/structural calculations and FEA.
• Familiarity with CAM software and CNC workflows.
• Understanding of welding, fabrication, and machining processes.
• Exposure to 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and 3D printing.
• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with shop collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and clear technical documentation.
• Preferred: experience in lifting, rigging, and transport.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, cranes, and lifting solutions from concept to production.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings in Fusion 360 for machined parts.
• Produce load-securement and rigging drawings.
• Perform load calculations and FEA to validate designs.
• Use 3D scanning and reverse engineering to create working models.
• Generate CAM programs to support CNC machining.
• Prototype in 3D print and test fit before production.
• Collaborate with machinists, welders, and fabricators in the shop.
• Travel to customer sites to take measurements and support field deployment.
• Maintain drawings and documentation with precision.
