Job summary

Sentec's Sustaining Engineering team seeks a Mechanical Engineer to drive design updates, troubleshoot field and production challenges, and ensure regulatory compliance for respiratory care devices.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and performance while investigating complex issues and delivering practical solutions that advance Sentec's mission to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in mechanical engineering, medical devices preferred.
• Proficient with 3D CAD; knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead design changes and engineering updates for existing medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product and manufacturing.
• Create design docs, 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs.
• Conduct tolerance analyses and material selection.
• Perform root cause investigations, CAPA, and post-market testing.
• Support verification/validation testing and risk management.
