SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its Bloomfield office to develop parachutes and specialized soft-good components for all its programs. The role is responsible for design ownership, analysis, and project delivery, requiring a strong engineering background and experience with CAD and FEA software. The candidate must be willing to work extended hours and travel as necessary.

At the SpaceX Bloomfield office, a Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the continued development and production of critical parachutes and other specialized soft-good components for all programs across SpaceX (Dragon, Falcon, Starship and Starlink). Each of these programs plays a part of ultimately extending humankind's reach to the moon, Mars, and beyond.
