What you'll do

1. Sketch, design, build, analyze, validate, and refine robust mechanical and electromechanical designs for low to high-volume production, using paper sketches, physical prototypes, and 3D CAD.
2. Support and engage in business development activities.
3. Collaborate within cross-disciplinary teams to conduct research, brainstorm, prototype, test, analyze, document, and present work to clients.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table

• BS or MS in mechanical engineering or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in an engineering or design-related industry.
• Experience solving complex problems in areas such as mechatronics, structural design, dynamics, thermal engineering, fluid dynamics, optics, controls, acoustics, precision mechanical systems, product engineering, or design for manufacturing. A broad range is advantageous.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling CAD (SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, FEA tools, etc.).

Salary Range (Massachusetts):

Low: $135,900 - High: $157,400
