Job summary

Sulzer in Pasadena, TX is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer for our electromechanical service center. The role is on-site, with time split between shop work, inspections, measurements, and engineering documentation, plus field service up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day shop and field operations for rotating equipment inspections and overhauls.
• Collaborate with machine shop and quotation teams to define repair scopes.
• Perform or verify measurements with micrometers and calipers, document findings clearly.
• Create and update CAD drawings (SolidWorks or Autodesk) for design or repair changes.
• Serve as primary mechanical contact for customers during on-site inspections and evaluations.
