MECHANICAL ENGINEER- ASSOCIATE OR STAFF LEVEL

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional hands‑on experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
• Ability to travel for work‑related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Industrial‑level working knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, PCBA, flex circuits, etc.
• Experience in troubleshooting cables and able to troubleshoot to the major component.
• Knowledge & application of GD&T techniques and knowledge of associated metrology approaches.
• Expertise working with overseas vendors, including but not limited to communication, DFMs, schedules, tooling issues, and some night calls.
• Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, Zemax, Ray Tracing, etc.).
• Experience with high‑volume products.
• Experience delivering multiple successful consumer products to production from concept inception to shipping products.
• Design for manufacture and assembly experience.
• Proficiency in presenting engineering designs, proposals, and reports.
