Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes and manufactured tools).
• Research, analyze, and design tools and components that meet or exceed customer needs and requirements.
• Work with various foundries, tool and die companies, and local machine shops to produce new or re-designed components for tools.
• Where needed, re-design tools to upgrade, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
• Continuously work to reduce overall costs.
• Work directly with external and internal groups to design for manufacturability.
• Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
• Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability, and safety.
