Responsibilities include engineering support, project/contract management, troubleshooting, technical documentation, safety compliance, and a 24-hour shift readiness when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Mechanical/Structural Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years in industrial maintenance/engineering with mech equipment.
• Proficiency reading mechanical/electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Broad knowledge across Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Utilities, Civil.
• Steel-making/heavy metal background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, install, maintain mechanical systems and production processes.
• Oversee project scopes, budgets, schedules; manage vendor contracts.
• Analyze malfunctions and propose design modifications for reliability.
• Read blueprints and mechanical/electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Follow plant safety rules and operating procedures.
• Support operations in extreme temperatures and heavy machinery environments.
