Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of project engineering/design experience.
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate technical needs across teams.
• Experience with machine fabrication, welding, and shop techniques.
• Knowledge of cost estimating procedures.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Mechanical and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with BOM structure and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review project layout drawings, specs and scope.
• Support PM and Sales to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining hardware integrity.
• Ensure total design traceability of standard equipment and modifications.
• Coordinate interfaces with Electrical & Process Engineering for hardware compatibility.
• Approve vendor submittals and review calculations.
• Initiate BOMs for release to production.
• Identify and communicate corrective actions for mechanical problems.
• Support retrofit projects and refurbishment as needed.
