Responsibilities

  • Analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Designs products or systems including instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
  • Plans and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems.
  • Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
  • Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical capabilities, with the ability to apply advanced mathematical and statistical methods to evaluate data, identify trends, and support engineering and operational decision-making. This role requires the ability to interpret complex technical information presented in mathematical, schematic, and diagrammatic formats and translate findings into practical solutions. The successful candidate will have experience using CAD and design software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD to support product, process, or equipment development. Additionally, familiarity with automation systems, automated manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement initiatives is essential to drive efficiency, innovation, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Data
  • Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
Design
  • Designs products or systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
  • Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software
Projects
  • Plans and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems.
  • Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
Maintenance
  • Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.
  • Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Degree/Diploma Obtained: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
General Requirements:
  • Occupational Experience: - Four to ten years related experience
