Job summary

BETA Fueling Systems, LLC in Reidsville, NC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Product Development & Design to take new aviation refueling products from concept through production release. You will integrate mechanical, fluid, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical subsystems into a functioning whole and transition designs to manufacturing on schedule.

You will design in SolidWorks, create complete drawings, prototype and test, and contribute to cross‑functional teams across facilities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks; 3D modeling and 2D drafting with DraftSight or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Own the mechanical design of new products from concept through production release.
• Translate customer requirements, market input, and sales proposals into engineering specifications.
• Develop and evaluate design concepts for performance, reliability, serviceability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Prototype and test; define test plans, capture results, and drive design changes from data.
• Lead design reviews and document decisions, risks, and open items.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, quality, service, and customers.
