Job summary

Manufacturing is seeking a Design Engineer to drive product development from concept to production. This hands-on role emphasizes 3D CAD design, prototyping, testing, and systems integration to support manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has SolidWorks expertise and a background in mechanical design for welded structures, piping, sheet metal, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, plus experience with continuous improvement and tooling design.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1+ years experience mechanical design within manufacturing.
• Experience with 3D modeling software via SolidWorks and 2D drafting software.
• Understand PLCs, Electrical and Controls systems.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience writing, reviewing, or approving engineering documents.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical details internally and with customers.

Position: Design Engineer

Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing and established company. The Design Engineer will take new products from concept through production. This is a hands on design role focused on 3D CAD, detailed drawings, prototyping, testing, systems integration, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate will have strong SolidWorks experience and a background designing mechanical systems, welded structures, piping, sheet metal, and/or hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This position will also support continuous improvement, troubleshooting, tooling and fixture design, and facility or manufacturing projects as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related field required.
