Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is looking for a Mechanical Build specialist in El Segundo, California. In this role, you'll own the mechanical build process of Poseidon robotic systems, collaborating with engineers to ensure high-quality production standards are met.

We're seeking candidates with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, strong mechanical intuition, and the ability to read CAD models. Expect to work outside standard hours to meet production deadlines and solve on-site issues.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience assembling or building electro-mechanical hardware; 3+ years preferred.
• Ability to read and produce CAD models, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
• High proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and standard shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full mechanical build of Poseidon robotic systems from start to finish.
• Develop new processes for production required by new product development.
• Diagnose failures quickly through teardown, root-cause analysis, and hands-on testing.
