Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Design Build Engineer to lead the build and integration of autonomous surface vessels. The role bridges design engineering and production, focusing on scalable, high-quality assembly and production methods.

You will collaborate across disciplines to model, analyze, and optimize structures, mechanical and electrical systems, and weight. The position requires shipyard experience and hands-on ECO leadership for successful transition to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Marine/related field.
• Familiarity with ABS and Coast Guard regulations.
• Experience in shipyard or onboard ships.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and integration for autonomous surface vessels.
• Coordinate CAD modeling, structural/mechanical/electrical design, and weight management.
• Drive ECOs with traceability and verification.
• Support integration of autonomous navigation and control systems.
• Document changes and support sea-trials and reports.
